There are many kinds of people in this world… or being more precise… in my world, I classify people into many categories… an obvious one being the ones I love to hang out with and the ones I can’t stand. Now, sometimes there’s a thin line separating the two. You think you know some people, but then fate comes charging in, with a purposeful streak, determined to make you realize how wrong you were! I don’t know if it’s just me, but it’s difficult to get into my good books once I’ve kicked someone out… and fate being the unforgiving, unyielding character she is… she rarely comes to my rescue. I have had my fair share of experiences wherein I had not given the benefit of the doubt to those who deserved it, had ended up trusting some who didn’t deserve it in the slightest… Life does not come with a rewind button and that, folks, in my opinion, is the best thing that God has done for ensuring that the universe doesn’t get big-banged for millions of years to come.
True colours are very hard to be revealed when it comes to some people… while for some others, their faces are a window to their thoughts and actions. My close friends say that I belong to the latter, and although I consider that as one of the worst qualities I had been born with, there are some who swear that it was the very thing that endeared them to me in the first place! What might be a curse to one can be a blessing in disguise to others… Not to speak highly of myself, this window thing renders me incapable of lying, causing several problems in its wake.
P.S- For some crazy reason, as I sit here on my bed typing away this boring piece of article, I suddenly had a vision of Carrie Bradshaw doing the same!
