#AtoZChallenge: Hot! (tiny tale #15)

Aditi: “Omg. Hot, hot, hot. That’s so hot. What the hell did you do!?”

Her entire group of friends bursts into laughter. When they had calmed down relatively, Pooja decided to speak up “Whoops. I should have warned you, but then again that would have taken the fun out of the birthday prank. That would be the Jalapeño peppers. They pack quite a punch – they range from 2,500 to 8,000 on the Scoville scale. Oh and by the way, Happy birthday sweetie.”

Aditi: “Water…Must have water”

Someone was kind enough to hand Aditi a bottle of water which she emptied in one go.

Aditi: “The what scale, now? Can you speak English!”

Pooja: “Why don’t you google it up while we go and get you the actual birthday cake.”

Author’s Note:

I love spicy food. This wasn’t written from a personal experience. However, I hope my friends don’t get any ideas after this post. But then again, my birthday falls in January. So hopefully, they have a lot of time to forget about this idea!

    1. Yes, they are real fun, especially if it’s a birthday prank (unless it’s our birthday!) 😂

  1. What a mean prank! But also quite funny. Nice tale. Would love it if you included my fiction A to Z blog onto your list, thanks for sharing the other fiction blogs. So much good stuff to read.

    1. Oh yes, you do have a point there. Poor Aditi. Her friends didn’t put much thought into the consequences, I guess. (But in reality, caught up in my writing spree, I’d overlooked that detail.)
