He finally whispered the three words she ever wanted to hear from her estranged son.

“I love you. Always have. Always will.”

But his mother had already crossed over to the land with no return.

  1. That was touching, Shweta. Do you think the impact would be greater or less, if instead of telling us it was too late and his mother had died, you showed us the son standing beside or walking slowly away from her coffin? Might we feel his regret if we see it?
