He peeked through the blinds,
camera in hand,
careful not to make any sound.
He was determined,
to snap a photo of the rather elusive Blackbird.

Thank you so much, Kat. It was my pleasure. Thanks a lot for the prompt. It was a great challenge, limiting it to 140 characters but I loved it. 🙂

140 Characters is not a lot. But one can say so much!

Thank you so much, Pooja! Ohhh, I hadn’t thought about it like that. To be honest, Blackbird was the only bird that made the total word count come up to 140 characters! 😀 But I guess I’ll leave the interpretations open to the imaginations of my readers. 😉

Weird imagination can be the best thing to happen to happen to a blogger/writer.. right? 😁😁😁😁 Half the stories are born because of such abilities. 😉😀

Oooh and now I’m intrigued to know if Blackbird is code for something or someone? :O!

Oh! The only reason why I picked Blackbird was that then my story would have140 characters! 😀 But you’re free to interpret it any way you like! 😉 Thanks for reading, Jade! 🙂

Cool story! I do this when I’m watching the birds so I don’t scare them off. 🙂

Extended ending: Blackbird heard the snap of the camera. She later called the police and had the peeping tom arrested.
