Liebster Award!

It’s been a long time since I was nominated for this award by Cheila and Andrea. They are both amazing bloggers. Do check out their blogs. I’m sure you will love it. Thank you so much for nominating me, Cheila and Andrea! And I’m sorry it took me such a long while to do this post. Here are the links to their blogs:

Cheila’s questions were:

1. What show are you binge watching right now?

The last show I binge watched was This is Us.

2. What are you reading?

I can read more than one book at once. So currently I’m  reading John Grisham’s “The Rainmaker” and Colleen Hoover’s “It Ends With Us”.

3. What do you usually go for if you’re cooking just for yourself?

Food that requires minimal cooking. 😀

4. What’s your favorite eye and hair color?

Blue and dark brown.

5. What sports did you practice in high school?

I wasn’t the athletic type.

6. How many hours a day do you spend on the internet?

A lot of time!

7. Do you choose your outfit in the day before or in the morning?

In the morning.

8. Can you play any instrument?

No, I can’t.

9. Do you prefer hot weather or cold weather?

This might seem weird but I love cold weather. It’s much better than the heat!

10. What is your favorite fruit?

Oranges.

11. Can you swim? How old were you when you learned?

I can’t swim.

Andrea’s questions were:

1. What is your favorite book, or if you prefer, your favorite author?

That’s a question that has multiple answers but I’ll say Harry Potter (purely because of sentimental reasons!)

2. Is there a country you have always wanted to visit, and if so, where?

Oh yes. Paris 😀

3. What do you enjoy about blogging, and how has your blog changed in unexpected ways since you started it?

I love writing and this blog is the best thing that has ever happened to me. “My Random Ramblings” has, and will continue to give me a lot of happiness and encouragement. I think I can say that I’ve grown so much as a writer and my writing style has evolved a lot. My decision to publish “tiny tales” on this blog was a major turning point. I was overwhelmed by all the supportive comments! And of course, “tiny tales” is the most-viewed and most-commented category of posts on this blog.

4.What is your favorite time period to read or write in, and why?

Anytime is a good time.

5. What is your favorite time period to watch on film or television, and why?

I don’t really have a favourite time period.

6. How do you find inspiration?

Courtesy of my crazy, wild imagination that knows no limits! I tend to observe a lot and I believe my experiences, thoughts, and opinions somehow find their way into my works. However, that may or may not be my unconscious decision(s).

7. What started you down the road of writing and blogging?

I have always loved to write (and read!) But I have to thank my dear friend and fellow blogger Sid for introducing me to WordPress and the world of blogging in the first place!

8. How do you keep yourself motivated?

Music, reading, watching videos on YouTube and giving myself pep talks.

9. What four people would you invite to a dinner party (contemporary, historical, or fictional)?

Ed Sheeran, J.K. Rowling, Emma Watson and Kenny Sebastian.

10. What is your favorite kind of weather?

Winter 😀

11. If you could have any pet, real or fictional, what would it be?

Dogs!

My nominees are: (in no particular order)

  1. Loved the last question ! If you could meet anyone dead or alive, who would it be? 😀 Dead!!
Ed Sheeran is coming to India sometime this year. Start making plans for that dinner party 😉 You like dogs. 😀 😀

    1. 😂😂😂 hey R, have you already been nominated for Liebster?
Ohh yes, he’s coming to India but I’m pretty sure that I won’t be able to make it this time. 😫 So for now, I’ll restrict myself to listening to his songs on repeat! I don’t like dogs, I love them! 😁😁😁

      1. I have been nominated for liebster almost 7-8times. 😂 I did four and then decided not to do any more awards 😇 unless..someone is willing to give me a Nobel 😉
I like dogs too, especially golden retrievers. They are so fluffy that I am going to die 😉😂😂 they are the cutest dogs ever 😀

    1. Thanks a lot, Maniparna. ❤😊 Sorry it took me a while to reply. This comment had somehow ended up in the spam folder.

Glad to know you enjoyed reading my answers. 😀 Yay, we’ve got one more thing in common. 💕😊

  2. Ed Sheeran, J.K. Rowling, Emma Watson and Kenny Sebastian. Really?
That would be one interesting meeting. One would be singing the shape of you, the other would be lost in a world of wizardry, there would be the next one talking about women’s rights and the other will be mocking them all.
Please I would love an invite to this party. At least I can get to hear my fav – shape of you from the horse’s mouth and ask J K Rowling about how she got about writing a series when I have trouble writing a single post 😉 No messing with the other two. oops got carried away. Loved that most and I simply had to say this.
Congratulations, Shweta. It is raining awards in Random Ramblings. You more than deserve it.

    1. If I had a choice, I’d love to add Sonu Nigam, John Legend, A. R. Rahman, Barack Obama and Narendra Modi to that list too. 😂 You can never have enough people on our celebrity-dinner-guest-list. 😉😁 ( I hope I won’t end up giving them food poisoning if they are unfortunate enough to eat a meal cooked by me. 😂😂😂😂 )
Haha I’d love to how that meeting would go. But I strongly suspect that I’ll end up monopolizing Ed Sheeran. 😂 I’d probably be too busy metaphorically drooling over his amazing voice! 😂😍 (Fangirl alert 😂😂😂) Ohh, if this ever happens.. I’ll send you an invite. 😉😂 Shape of you, Photograph and Thinking Out Loud are my favourites 😍😍😍 I’d love to get all seven books autographed by J. K. Rowling. 😀😀😀 She’s amazing. How well planned were those seven books!!! ( and the various spin-offs too! ) It’s absolutely amazing that she found inspiration during a train ride while going through a difficult phase in her life. As for the other two, I’d probably ask Emma Watson more about feminism and her future projects. But I wouldn’t dare mess with Kenny Sebastian. 😂 I’m no match for a guy who makes a living by doing exceptional stand-up comedy. We can just let him do his bit and have fun as spectators. 😀 Don’t worry about getting carried away. I love that you ramble on as much as I do. 😀😀😀 Your comments fill me with such happiness. Sorry for the delay. Kurach naal aayi commentsnu reply cheythitt. 😀 I love that you loved it.
Thank you so much, my dear. It’ll be busy during the next few weeks so award posts are all that I’ve got lined up. I hope it doesn’t get overwhelming! Thanks for reading and thanks for reaching out.

    1. Food that requires minimum cooking because the last thing I’d want to do would be to burn the house to the ground. 😂😂😂 Blue is my favourite too. (And black and white and any other colour I might have taken a sudden fancy to at that moment 😂) I love cold weather. Perfect time to cuddle up with a book under the blanket. 😍
      I love oranges. 😀😀😀😀
Thanks for reading all of it. 😁😁😁😁
