Yay! If the post title didn’t give it away yet, here it is – My Random Ramblings has finally crossed the 1k followers’ milestone! Thanks to each and every one of you for propelling this blog to new heights. It means a lot to me. For someone whose thoughts flow through her writings, I’m finding it difficult to express my feelings on crossing this very significant milestone. This blog has become a HUGE part of my life, and I’ve got all of you to thank for the reason why it’s climbing greater heights every day. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I’m extremely humbled and honoured.

When I started blogging, nearly 3 years ago, I struggled to post at least once every month! Now, I’ve got at least 50 completed drafts, ready to be published in case of emergencies (read: writer’s block) Back then, most of my blog posts were closer to the 800-900 word limit. Now, flash fiction is my forte. Never in my wildest dreams, did I imagine, that one day this blog would hit the 1k mark. Over the course of these 3 years, I have grown so much as a writer and my writing style has certainly taken a turn for the better. It seems to me, that this blog has grown in popularity ever since I started writing tiny tales! And it IS, indeed, the best-performing category in this blog. I guess I should be grateful to ttt for turning down my tiny tales all those years ago. Talk about a blessing in disguise!

  5. Great job and a huge congratulations to you!! I understand how much work is involved running a blog. Kudos to you! I haven’t been here in a long time so apologies for that. I’m just now getting back into blogging like I used to do. If you didn’t know, my Mom, best friend, and one of my precious cats died all in less then 2 months. But anyways, here I am and I hope to be here again soon!! Much Love to you! 💞

    1. Thank you so much! 😊 Congrats on completing one year. The numbers used to be very much low for me after the first year but it has increased steadily after that. Don’t worry, you’ll get to bigger milestones soon enough. But then again, it’s not the number that matters. It’s the actual number of people who regularly read what you write!       2. No worries, Aksh. It happens. But you’re right. I’ve come a long way. This November, I’ll complete 5 years, potentially hit 2.5k followers and have a huge writing streak too! ❤️
        It’s been a good year when it comes to writing, for me.
