tiny tale #47: Be cruel to be kind…

Alerted by the sound of approaching feet, whatever remained of the flock exchanged panic-stricken looks.
The humans were back. Again!
The drug trials were claiming more lives than ever.
Each time, they were assured that the formula was finally perfected.
But the trials never stopped.

    1. Yes, humans can be and are so cruel. The amount of cruelty that takes place in the name of drug trials is devastating. Your heart literally breaks when you see the videos. They are treated so inhumanely, and for such long periods of time. It’s utterly heart-wrenching.

  1. It’s disturbing how we treat animals. Testing on animals is absolutely inhumane and so unnecessary. I recently went cruelty free after finding all this information out and luckily it seems many others are also opting to do so since there are a lot of vegan and cruelty free options out there these days. I really hope animals testing is banned in all the countries soon although in all honesty that doesn’t seem likely to happen anytime soon.

    1. It is disturbing and heart-breaking. Those videos can literally break your heart. They can’t even speak up in defense! I really hope that animal testing becomes a thing of the past too. Here’s to hoping. Meanwhile, we can go cruelty free and try our best not to encourage brands that conduct or pay for conducting tests on poor, helpless creatures. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your valuable thoughts, Pooja!

      1. Yes I really hope animal testing eventually ends. It’s so sad to see since they can’t stand up for themselves but these days more and more brands are going cruelty free so let’s hope for the best!
