Earthlings used to worship me.
Over the years, worship morphed into exploitation and contamination.
I used to flow about in abundance, clear as the blue sky.
Now I’m reduced to hiding in the deepest, darkest pits to save myself.
I used to be called water,
Now they call me liquid gold.

Wow! Excellent story Shweta. A cautionary tale, sadly with a grain of truth. I do hope we wake up soon.

I really enjoyed your story. It leaves me with a lot to think about with the knowledge that mankind may have gone too far already in contaminating this beautiful planet. Thank you for sharing this!

Hopefully, we’ll wake up before it’s far too late. But I’m scared that moment has passed without us being aware of it. Thanks for stopping by and leaving behind your valuable comment, Amy!

Fear feeds fear. Please don’t go into fear but instead focus on the good and the beautiful around you. Create happiness in your life wherever you go. Live your life according to YOU. The more we all focus on the LIGHT the more the insanity of this world will fade away. (((HUGS)))!!!

This is a valuable reflection. Water, a resource so many of us take for granted.
