Where does the soul go once the life ceases to exist?
I wonder if a departed soul goes to heaven or hell, or if it’s simply reborn… all set for yet another journey from birth till death.
They do call it the circle of life after all!
Life is unpredictable, so is death.
A moment can change the tables and your fate along with it.
Death knows no boundaries and stops for none.
Death is still an invisible barrier, one that’s still not within our reach.
They say black signifies death. But what is black, really?
Is it not the absence of colour?
Black absorbs all colours and reflects none… just like the somber event it signifies – death absorbs all souls.
There’s a reason they call it the claws of death – it literally snatches away your loved ones… leaving us dumbfounded with grief and loss.
Death is the ultimate stop on the journey that is life… or so we think, who knows! Maybe it’s the interval before the next leg of the journey begins.
Yet for those of us from whom death has stolen, it will always be a villain…
one who has carved out unrepairable holes in our hearts along with the souls of our loved ones.
We have lost our loved ones, and we know not if we’ll ever meet them…
If so, when we’ll meet them or where.
