March is about to end. And the #A2ZChallenge will kick-off in a day! The #A2ZChallenge is all about writing a blog post every day (except Sundays) for each letter of the alphabet, all through April. 26 posts in all – one for each letter. I have participated and successfully completed the challenge in 2017 and 2018. (Click here to read those posts: #AtoZChallenge2017 and #AtoZChallenge2018)
And here is my theme for this year’s #A2Z – Words Redefined. It’s basically old wine in a new bottle – a #AtoZ spin on one of my long-running series on this blog – The One-liner Wednesdays. For readers who are unfamiliar with me and my blog, it’s all about defining a word in a way that makes it more relatable to me (and hopefully, to many people too!). If the title didn’t give it away, it’s a one-line redefinition for commonplace words. Yes, because the dictionary definition is too mainstream. 😀 Granted, this challenge does contain posts that are exaggerated and heavily doused in sarcasm for the entertainment of my readers. 😀
Each post will go live at 12AM IST sharp. Do read all posts and let me know what you think in the comments section. 🙂
In the current scenario, where Corona is all that we can hear, it wouldn’t hurt to have a little bit of humour in our lives. And that is precisely what I hope to achieve over the course of 26 posts in April. Stay tuned.
P.S: Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to participate in the challenge last year. It made me lose my streak (I could have scored a hat-trick!). But I’m determined to successfully make it till the end, this time around.
P.P.S: I have never gone into this challenge with this level of unpreparedness. In 2017 and 2018, I had completed my 26 posts by the time of theme reveal! This time, I have a few sorry excuses for drafts in my mind. But then again, I wasn’t under a lockdown then. So armed with more time on my hands than I could possibly want, I’m ready for the challenge. Let the challenge begin and may the odds be ever in your favour. 😀
