tiny tale #68: Lost evidence

Grandma had always adamantly maintained that she had gone on a solo trip to Paris. But no one believed her, in the absence of any evidence. She would tell anyone who cared to listen that she had taken a beautiful shot of The Eiffel Tower. Though it was taken from quite a distance, it offered quite a view of the Eiffel Tower, the Pont d’Iéna, and the Seine set against the dark sky! All thanks to the lockdown induced deep cleansing, we finally uncovered the evidence – an old, faded photograph! Grandma finally got to say, “I told you so!”

(100 words)

What treasures did you uncover when you finally deep cleaned your house?

This post was written in response to the Friday Fictioneers prompt. The Friday Fictioneers prompt is hosted by Rochelle Wisoff. The challenge is to weave a story in 100 words using the given photo prompt. Click on the links to read entries by my fellow bloggers and to know more about these challenges.

I’m back to writing tiny tales after a long time! It feels good to be back. 🙂
