Grandma had always adamantly maintained that she had gone on a solo trip to Paris. But no one believed her, in the absence of any evidence. She would tell anyone who cared to listen that she had taken a beautiful shot of The Eiffel Tower. Though it was taken from quite a distance, it offered quite a view of the Eiffel Tower, the Pont d’Iéna, and the Seine set against the dark sky! All thanks to the lockdown induced deep cleansing, we finally uncovered the evidence – an old, faded photograph! Grandma finally got to say, “I told you so!”

What treasures did you uncover when you finally deep cleaned your house?
This post was written in response to the Friday Fictioneers prompt. The Friday Fictioneers prompt is hosted by Rochelle Wisoff. Lovely story. No doubt a few treasures have been unearthed while everyone is stuck in their house!

My kids toy cupboards are where our treasures have been hiding. We found all sorts of missing things there

Yay! for Grandma 🙂 I’ve noticed a lot of people are putting old furniture out for garbage pickup; more big bags than usual. There’s a whole lot of cleaning going on 🙂
