Alarm
(noun)
The annoying third wheel in the beautiful relationship between you and your bed who never lets you sleep for as long as you want until you hit the “snooze” button several times or throw it away just to shut it up!
I hate it when my alarm goes off and I realize that it’s time to get up! But these days, I am so used to my routine that I don’t need an alarm to wake me up. But the sound of the alarm going off is what gets me out of my cozy bed. What about you?

It’s so annoying..I don’t use alarms now but when schools were open, my alarm would go off earlier than it was supposed to…and I would realise there’s still time! Glad to know I am not the only one! Nice take!😀

Once I get used to a certain routine, I don’t need an alarm. But at times, I tend to oversleep. So I always set the alarm before going to bed 😂

That’s great yaa… My shifts Change every week. Sometimes everyday. I start anywhere around 6-12 and close around 3-9… So it becomes a mess sometimes. Changing alarms every week 😂😂

I mean to to say shifts are anywhere between 6am- 3pm and 12pm-9pm.
Does that make sense? I think the earlier one didn’t 🙄
LikeLiked by 1 person
Haha it made sense. Shift changes are the worst! It’s so hard to adjust our sleep cycles everytime they change. I know the feeling. During the post lockdown time, my shifts used to change a lot too. It was very hectic!
LikeLiked by 1 person
yeahhhh…. but fortunately the change isn’t drastic. there are people in the office who work 6am-3pm for a week and then 3pm to 12 am next week…

We’re both retired but we try to stick to a schedule. It’s been so cold lately, though, that the snooze button gets pushed six times per hour.

Oh I’m still working and during the lockdown, I used to press the snooze button until I feel asleep again 😂
