tiny tale #82: A Needle In A Haystack

“Oh no, the klutz is back and he is back with a bang”, Michael told Sara as they went to inspect the source of the rather loud crash. The newly-landed object was nothing like anything they had ever seen before. It was definitely NOT food!

Though the klutz did drop bits and crumbs of his food from time to time, this was not such one such occasion. Michael found that the hard way when he tried to nibble the item. Michael grunted in pain and grumbled about his lack of luck, even as Sara laughed her heart out. Eventually, they headed back home, to their ant colony, all the while praying that the klutz doesn’t trample them to death as he frantically searched the ground for whatever it was that he had dropped by accident. Oblivious to the ants’ conversation, the klutz kept on searching frantically for the dropped nut.

    1. Haha and here I was thinking that I’ll go with a different perspective 😂
This plot was the first thing that popped into my mind. Nothing else turned up. So I ran with my first idea. 😉
Thank you so much for the prompt and your kind words, Crispina. I really enjoyed doing this one.
