Three Line Tale #32: The mysterious guest

Nainika, Ananya, and Kavya huddled together behind the curtains as they struggled to get a better view of the mysterious guest performer for the Annual Ballet event.

The identities of this guest had been a closely guarded secret and everyone was extremely curious just like the triplets huddled behind the stage.

From their viewpoint behind the stage, the triplets watched in amazement as Mrinalini, a former ballet dancer who also happened to be their mother, made a truly awe-inspiring comeback to ballet after a gap of several years!

I am late for this week’s prompt but better late than never! I am so busy that I am not even getting the time to schedule posts. 😦

For the visually challenged readers, the image shows three young girls dressed in white, frilly ballet dance costumes in what seems to be the backstage. Their faces are mostly away from the camera as they look towards the stage. Stage equipments are also visible in the periphery.

    You give beautiful names to your characters.

    I liked how it said it was their mother only. Interesting!
    No matter how late you are, you never fail to disappoint your readers.
