2 Easy Ways to create pingbacks in Block Editor! – The Desktop version

Many bloggers are very much confused when it comes to pingbacks. So I thought I will help them out by making a tutorial of sorts. Watch the video to see 2 easy ways to add pingbacks. 🙂

This is my first video and clearly, I am an amateur. I am a storyteller who will probably never make it in YouTube. So please put up with the flaws. 😉

      1. I’m glad that you were able to figure out out. 😊
I always schedule my prompt posts in advance and they are always published on Saturdays at 8PM IST. Unfortunately, while scheduling the post yesterday, I accidentally ending up publishing it. It took me a while to realise my mistake and I rescheduled it immediately. But I guess the notification had already gone out. 😅

      2. Oh. I really don’t know why that has happened. When I accidentally publish a post and revert it back to a draft, this might happen. But other than that, I have no idea why it might happen. 🙆🏻‍♀️

    1. Oh, Lauren. That’s such a sweet thing to say ☺️🥰
I really wanted to do the voiceover but I was running short of time as I wanted to publish this before this week’s 6WSP prompt. And I couldn’t find a software to record both video and audio in time. But now that Pooja has given a lovely recommendation, you can expect videos with voiceovers.

      1. I think that’s a as good policy. But I’m too lazy to start my laptop. Besides I like writing in a flow and on the laptop you’ve too stop repeatedly to format your sentences and paragraphs. Phone is smart! Lol

      2. Haha. That’s true but I mostly fix my mistakes as I go. Otherwise, my flow gets affected. So it works out perfectly for me 🤣
Ever since the block editor became the norm, I’ve stopped writing using the app.

      3. I learnt it because I thought they were going to terminate the classic editor. And I didn’t want to stop writing because I couldn’t handle an editor. So I learnt as I worked my way through posts 😄

    1. Haha. Thank you, HS. I should have done the video back then. But I was still figuring out how to grab my screen video. I still haven’t figured it out completely. I couldn’t add my voiceover. I’m happy to help you out. You will learn with time too. I’ve been using wordpress for well over five years 😁
