six word story #105

Hope seemed non-existent. Miracle saved them.

This post was written in response to my own Saturday Six Word Story Prompt (6WSP) #76: Miracle. Click on the link to read entries from my fellow bloggers.

Sometimes when life seems to be perfect, fate intervenes and turns your life upside down. Fate can be too cruel at times.

      1. I go out for work everyday. That short drive and the reason I can actually be somewhere other than home are great motivators.
But I get what you mean. It’s been so long since we actually went out for fun, or went out just got the sake of exploring new places. I don’t know if life will ever be the same. ☹️

      2. Oh yes, Ajay and I were binge watching the Harry Potter movies. And I couldn’t help wishing for a world where many problems could be solved with a switch and a flick of a wand.
But right now, scientists, researchers, doctors, nurses and the entire medical community are the only ones who can find a solution to the nightmare that is Corona. I hope that it’s not long until this wretched disease disappears forever.

      3. Oh. Maybe they’re going for a phased unlock. There’s still no news about lockdown extension in Bangalore. Hopefully they won’t extend it further. The cases are reducing significantly

      4. At least that will reduce the crowding. The restrictions are going to be relaxed. They won’t be lifted completely. So hopefully the cases won’t start increasing again even with the relaxations.

      5. Oh God! I hope your family is doing okay too. It’s a very nasty disease indeed. Many of my colleagues still have some issue or the other even though they have recovered. Take care.

    1. You have pinged back to the wrong post, Tillie. Please ensure that you ping back to the 6WSP prompt post so that it’s easier for me to find your story when I’m doing the roundup post.
