Yawn

Definition 2:

That involuntarily move that you don’t have to cover up anymore by pretending to drink water (or something even more creative) thanks to the physical masks that we are required wear.

This post was written in response to today’s One-Liner Wednesday challenge from Linda G. Hill. The challenge, as the name implies is to come up with a one-liner. Please click on the link to know more about the rules of this challenge and/or to read the other entries by my fellow bloggers.

Yay! I have managed to complete 50 posts in this series! I love to come up with alternate definitions. Thanks for encouraging me to continue this series.

Did you yawn while reading this? Do let me know in the comments section.

Thanks to the pandemic, everything has become online – classes, interviews, meetings, discussions etc. If the video is off, we need not bother to even cover it up. But on the off chance that it’s offline, the masks save us from potential glares and embarrassment. I was yawning when this particular re-definition came to my mind! Funny how inspiration strikes from very unlikely sources at times.

Wherever you are, I hope you are safe and well. Take care.
