Assumption
(noun)
Something that you believe to be true without bothering to confirm it, that has the potential to gift you lots of regrets when you end up getting (royally) screwed!
This post was written in response to today’s One-Liner Wednesday challenge from Linda G. Hill. The challenge, as the name implies is to come up with a one-liner. Please click on the link to know more about the rules of this challenge and/or to read the other entries by my fellow bloggers.
It’s never good to jump to assumptions. We get sidelined and fail to see the truth and the facts even if they are right in front of us, waiting for us to take notice. Assumptions can do more harm than good. It’s always wise (and better!) to check if the assumptions are true and then proceed accordingly.

I’m not gonna assume anything, anymore! Instead clarify everything on the spot to the person concerned. #lessonlearnt. Thank you Shweta! I never knew this word to have much meaning in it.

That is much better, indeed. I am glad that you had a great takeaway from this post. This was just my definition for it. I am glad that you found it to be very meaningful. 😀
