Sparks fly

Minds soar high, hearts race
Love spreads its magic around
Sparks fly, bonds grow strong

I don’t exactly believe in love at first sight. It happens more in fiction than that in reality. Most people require more than that to actually fall in love. But there might be a lucky few who do fall in love at the first sight. This week’s prompt lead me to this Haiku. 😀

This post was written in response to Eugi’s Weekly prompt for this week – Soar. The challenge is to go where the prompt leads you and publish a post on your own blog that responds to the given word or image prompt. 1. Ah, what a lovely haiku, my dear friend. I love how you’ve taken a moment in time, like falling in love at first sight, and then connected it to something enduring, like bonds growing strong. Lovely, Shweta. 🤗❤

  2. That’s a lovely haiku! 😍
I don’t believe in love at first sight but I can’t resist from saying that I fall for a voice, a poem, a song, a tune at the first sight. I don’t think it’ll ever happen with a person but if it happens in real, it’s beautiful miracle ❤️

    1. Oh yes. I love voices too. I have even published a post on it! It’s a miracle indeed. I don’t know anyone personally but it does happen to a select few, I guess. Thanks, dear ❤️🤗

  3. Ahhh. This is so pure. It reminds me of so many of my crushes haha. I agree though, love is a ongoing process, it cannot happen on first sight. You can feel the spark but love? Nah that takes time. But hey, i love, love in fictional stories. Very very cute haiku! ❤

      1. Oh that’s amazing, Sarah! I’ve known my husband for nearly 9 years but we’ve been in a relationship for nearly 2 years. It took us a lot of time to realise that we were more than friends.

  5. Indeed it occurs at first sight, then forgotten on the course of time. I think love is a state of a mind that permanently hides inside our heart.
