A well-deserved treat!

Poetry 1 Minute 
Peace descends at last
crime solving done for the day
the heroes relax
reward themselves with a treat
after a hard day's battle

Superheroes need a break from all that crime fighting too! What better way to relax than with a sweet treat. I hope you enjoyed this Tanka 😊

This poem was written in response to Sadje’s What Do You See Challenge #92. The What Do You See challenge is to use the picture prompt as inspiration to compose an original story, poem, or a caption. Thank you, Sadje for hosting this challenge.

For visually challenged reader, the image shows two lego mini-figures sitting on pavement. Batman has a ice cone and Superman has an ice lolly!

      4. You’re lucky indeed. The cases are always on the rise. Even though they come down after lockdown, they rise up when the restrictions are lifted. Take care
