Secrets, revealed
Trust, broken
Betrayal hurts.
Betrayals always hurt. The closer the bond you share with the betrayer, the deeper the cut. Betrayals are almost always unexpected. The ones we suffer at the hands of our loved ones hurt the most.
This post was written in response to Tuesday Writing Prompt Challenge: Tuesday, August 10, 2021 hosted by Devereaux Frazier and Beth Amanda at Go Dog Go Cafe. This week’s challenge was to write a poem about betrayal in six words. Click on the link to read entries from my fellow bloggers.

What should the answer?

Trust can be a tricky indeed. Once broken, it’s hard to build back up indeed. But there are the kinds of secrets that help build bonds too. Great answer, Lokesh. I loved the positivity in your message.
