One-liner Wednesdays #56

Recollect

(verb)

When you are desperately racking your brains, willing it to somehow uncover the identity of the masked person in front of you before they figure out that you didn’t exactly recognize them!

This post was written in response to today’s One-Liner Wednesday challenge from Linda G. Hill. The challenge, as the name implies is to come up with a one-liner. Please click on the link to know more about the rules of this challenge and/or to read the other entries by my fellow bloggers.

Do you have any other definition for recollect? Do let me know.

Wherever you are, I hope you are safe and well. Take care.

  1. I was thinking this morning of someone I ran into in May, after not seeing him for probably two years. I had a mask on and had to remind him of who I was, but it was so awkward. Thankfully, I haven’t had that experience with anyone else.

    1. Haha. The worst part is when they literally accost you and ask you to guess who they are and describe how they are related to you! And neither of your parents will be there to rescue you from sure embarassment when you really want them to. They would be out of sight. Man, I used to dread going to weddings because of this.
