Three Line Tale #46: The empty classrooms

The empty classrooms and playgrounds were tired of the deafening silence.
Gone were the days when little humans graced those buildings with their presence.
In a world where online classes were the norm, the school buildings felt abandoned, lonely, and unloved.

I feel so sorry for all the students and teachers who have to cope up with online classes. It is not easy for both the parties involved. A return to offline classes does sound risky, especially considering the mutations and the contagious nature of the virus. But things are slowly returning back to normal. I hope that soon, a day will come when the old world order would be restored.

For the visually challenged readers, the image shows a classroom with several rows of vacant tables and chairs for the pupil as well as the teacher.

  1. I hope that it will happen soon in those parts of the world where the schools are still closed. As I can see that my daughter is so excited to see her friends again and to have lovely time with them at school. Let’s hope for the best.😊🤗

    1. They are slowly removing most of the restrictions. Hopefully, the kids will be able to return soon. I totally get your daughter’s excitement. It must feel nice to return back to school physically. Let’s hope for the best indeed.

    1. Oh no, Sam. I’m so sorry to hear that. I was thinking about all those like you who had missed out on their last year at school due to the pandemic. I’m sorry that you missed out on that experience. Online classes can be hectic. I prefer the offline classes too. Thanks, dear ❤️
