One-liner Wednesdays #36

Dogs

(noun)

Most popularly known as man’s best friend (and any woman’s too!) who can seem incredibly cute and irresistible to dog lovers but at the same time can seem like ferocious monsters to people who don’t get dogs and are hence scared of them!

This post was written in response to today’s One-Liner Wednesday challenge from Linda G. Hill. The challenge, as the name implies is to come up with a one-liner. Please click on the link to know more about the rules of this challenge and/or to read the other entries by my fellow bloggers.

I love dogs and they cannot stir up fear in me. And yes, I would choose cats over dogs too dogs over cats too. Any time, any day! Cats can and will never match up to the loyalty and unconditional love of dogs.

Do you have any similar stories (good and bad!) to share? The comments section is all yours.

Wherever you are, I hope you are safe and well. Take care.

      1. It’s okay. I’m not sure if you wanted to know the name of my granddaughter or my dog. My granddaughter’s name was Aniya. We also lost another granddaughter last August, Olivia. My dog is Heaven. She is actually the feature of my Saturday Story this week. 🙂

      2. I’m sorry for your loss, Lisa. May their souls rest in peace. It must have been so hard for you. I’m glad that you’ve got Heaven to help you through it.
Heaven is a great name. And I’m so glad that she’s the feature of your Saturday story. A recognition she truly deserves.

      3. Thank you! Aniya was the hardest. She was 34 days old. SIDS. Olivia was prematurely born at 6 months into my daughter’s pregnancy. She had a rare condition that wouldn’t allow her to live past delivery. 1% chance is not good odds. My daughter has 3 beautiful girls so we have a lot to be thankful for. Heaven was the cornerstone of getting through Aniya’s passing. Aniya would have been 11 years old in December. Thank you for giving us an outlet which can be personal sometimes to express our feelings. Sometimes I need the prompts to do just that! 🙂

      4. Oh, SIDS! I can understand why hers was the hardest. I’m so sorry for your loss, Lisa. I’m glad that she has got three bundles of joy to be thankful for. I’m also happy that this prompt paved a way for you to express your feelings. 11 years! How old is Heaven? She is rightfully the damsel in the shining armour, isn’t she?
