Compliment

(noun)

Words of praise or admiration that might be true but could also be laced with a heavy dose of sarcasm, especially if your close ones are the source of the said “compliment”.

  1. “could also be laced with a heavy dose of sarcasm, especially if your close ones are the source of the said “compliment”.”

Main reason why it’s so awkward to take in a compliment, you don’t know if it’s true or not. 😅
