The deep, dark web

Life might seem simple
But it's anything but!
Memories, people, experiences.
emotions, successes, failures,
and so much more..
woven into an intricate web
Too complicated to escape from,
Too messy to make sense of,
Too deep to fully understand,
Too sticky at times
to navigate through.
As we pick up new tricks,
The web gets trickier.
We struggle and keep fighting
Unraveling one puzzle after another.
We struggle to pave our way
through the one-way ticket…
the journey from birth to death.

This post was written in response to Reena’s Exploration Challenge #154. The challenge for this week was to “to see it as a background on which you have to write something.”

I interpreted that as a prompt leads you and publish a post on your own blog that responds to the prompt. Click on the link to know more about this challenge and to read the entries by my fellow bloggers. Thank you, Reena for hosting this challenge. 🙂

For the visually challenged readers, the image shows a close up view of what looks like very thick spirals of webs.

    1. Thank you so much for appreciating, Rashmi. These lines just popped up in my head as I started writing. It came with the flow..
Some days are like that. Inspiration literally flows out. Other days, I feel as if I have to kick the words out of me. 😂

  1. “We struggle to pave our way through the one-way ticket… the journey from birth to death.”… I guess that’s the baseline when you really think of it.

I love you pin point metaphorical take on life’s resemblance to a web💚
