It takes time to completely know a person. It takes some for most character traits to truly reveal themselves. Sometimes, we never truly know a person. We only see what they choose to show us. What are your thoughts on this?

Mmmm. Yes, I do think this is true, Shweta. We can crate a context with someone of safety and trust, yet it is always up to them to show us who they really are, if they choose to do so. A lovely reflective poem, my friend. ❤️🤗

I love this. So true, you cannot truly know a person especially because you also can’t truly know yourself. There is always so much to know about yourself so imagine the horizons of knowing someone else.

Truly agree , it takes a lifetime to know a person and even understand. Sometimes even after knowing a person for several years , certain incidents surprise us with new colors

“We only see what they choose to show us.” That’s so true. And we only see what we want to see. Sometimes we insist on what we choose to see despite all evidence to the contrary.

I agree with you when you say that we get to see only that part of a person which the person decides to show us. Aren’t we all included in it? Don’t we always put our best feet forward?
