Did someone say fish? – A Limerick

Did someone say fish?
Oh! There's something in my dish
My stomach is grumbling away,
as I slowly make my way
to whatever is in my dish.

This poem was written in response to Sadje’s What Do You See prompt #85. Thank you, Sadje for hosting this challenge. The challenge is to use the picture prompt as inspiration to compose an original story, poem, or a caption.

This is my first attempt at writing a Limerick. The rhyming scheme used here is aabba. I hope you enjoyed it. 😊

For the visually challenged reader, the image shows a small kitten looking inquisitively, from under a table.
