I am a chronic pain patient but I try to avoid painkillers as much as I can. They eventually spoil your system especially the liver.

Yes, me too. I’ve got headaches, migraines, sinusitis. I try to avoid painkillers too because otherwise my liver would suffer, the rate at which I keep getting the above-mentioned troubles. I try to sleep it off. Luckily, it works most of the time. What about you, dear?

There are two good and one not at all good painkillers for easing the pain caused by hurtful behavior or words. The goods ones are holy book Geeta and meditation. The bad one and the one that is easy to grab is alcohol! Apart from these good and bad, there is one that is best…Time! Its time that heals and nurtures as well.
Yeh jara jyada hi philosophical ho gaya…hehehehe!

There are a lot of bad ones. Time is definitely the best cure. But it takes a lot of time. I was wondering about an instant version. 😉 I love your suggestion of Geeta. A college professor gifted me with a book with teachings from Geeta. He told me that it’ll help me a lot during difficult times. Philosophy can help us a lot, especially in our darkest times. But the thing is, when we are down, we don’t feel like going into the philosophical goodness! But time is the best healer.

Very nicely said, Shweta but there are no pain killers for negative thoughts. Be positive and learn to be less selfish but selfless for a world of being humane.
